Duties
President
- Act as the key liaison between the Class, CVM faculty, staff and other student groups.
- Inform the class of pertinent happenings in the CVM.
- Announce and conduct class meetings.
- Communicate regularly with class officers.
- Attend SAC meetings monthly between September and April
- Year 2 President is to be a member of the College Advisory Committee and attend monthly meetings between September and April
Vice President
- Conduct meetings in the absence of the class president.
- Organize the Big/Little Sib program each spring/summer.
- Serve as a proxy for the President when they are unable to attend meetings.
- In the event the President is no longer able to fulfill his/her duties, the Vice President will succeed to President.
Secretary
- Maintain class records, including class bulletin board and website.
- Create and distribute meeting agenda and minutes for any class related business.
- Assist President in class correspondence.
Treasurer
- Complete paperwork to establish class as an RSO.
- Establish an off campus bank account for the class.
- Collect and handle class funds including deposits, withdrawals and reimbursements.
- Keep receipt records of all class transactions.
- Inform the class of bank account levels on a monthly basis.
- Establish a working overall class budget as well as a budget for all upcoming major events.
